Visual Artists: RBC Emerging Visual Artists Program

Submissions for the 2021-22 season are due March 31, 2022

The RBC Emerging Visual Artists Program (RBC EVAP) at Arts Commons provides an exceptional opportunity for emerging visual artists to develop their artistic practice, to showcase their work to the public through exhibitions, open studio and speaking engagements, and hone their professional skills in order to build a solid foundation for a successful career. Media Artists: Broadcast Lab

Submissions for the 2022-23 season are due June 30, 2022 as part of TD Incubator.

Broadcast Lab is an exciting micro-cinema programming opportunity at Arts Commons. Media artists are asked to submit their short films, animations, video art, media art, and short documentaries. Through a curatorial selection process, Broadcast Lab programs up to 24 national film and media artists annually running three months in duration on three monitors throughout the Arts Commons facility. Broadcast Lab is one of the only permanent exhibition spaces for film and media in Western Canada and is a unique platform to showcase new experimental films while sharing stories, ideas and connections about Canadian identity through media and film. Sound Artists: +15 Soundscape

Submissions for the 2022-23 season are due June 30, 2022 as part of TD Incubator.

Sound artists from across Canada and the world are invited to submit multichannel sound art proposals for the +15 Soundscape sound installation located in the +15 walkway in Arts Commons. Installations will loop continuously for three to four months. Use the form below to apply.
