ARTIST STATEMENT: 

I found photography when I needed it most.  

My photography life started with a coupon. I would never know that coupon would change my life and lead me to places I had never imagined, including the dark and deep ones inside my soul. I gave little credit to my cheap photography class seven years ago. It was the right class with the right mentor at just the right time. 

Photography is my safe place to be who I want to be, and it is my perfect world, and I invite you to be part of my safe place. I want you to join me in connecting with the natural environment in these places I have visited, where I felt part of something bigger. I am passionate about the beauty and grandeur of the planet where we live, and I want to share with you what has amazed my eyes through these pictures. 

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

Hi! I am Patricia, married to Higor and mother to Luna. I graduated in Information Systems back in Brazil and came to Calgary three years ago to study New Media Production and Design at SAIT.   

We moved to Canada to seek a better quality of life, learn English and live an enriching multicultural experience.     

Photography became part of my life in 2016 as a hobby to relieve stress in a personal hard time. I fell in love and never stopped photographing. Natural landscapes are my favourite scenarios. Nature is where I feel free, put my problems aside to enjoy life to the fullest and learn about gratitude and miracles. This is what moves me. When I am out in nature, I try not to take for granted the simplest moments.
