Chish is a visual artist based in Calgary AB. His passion for art began when he learned how to draw from his cousin while living at his grandmother’s house in his home country Zambia. Growing up he was inspired by musicians, actors, artists, and cultural leaders. He started painting as a form of therapy in 2017 and in 2020 and was inspired to pursue art as a career. Chish believes that art can be used to shed light in the dark. After rediscovering his faith, he intends to live that serves God, his family, and community.
