Fifty years after the startling discovery that monarch butterflies spend winters in the forests of Mexico, photographer and National Geographic Explorer Jaime Rojo reveals this winged wonder of the insect world in new ways with never-before-seen visuals, projected on the 48-foot screen of the Jack Singer Concert Hall stage.
Through his stunning photography, Jaime Rojo combines his passion for wild nature, conservation and storytelling to create visual communication campaigns that engage the general public on environmental issues. Tag along with him as well as conservationists and citizen scientists who are helping this species avoid catastrophic threats as part of Werklund Centre’s National Geographic Live series.
ASL Interpretation at National Geographic Live
Werklund Centre is proud to provide an ASL Interpreter at all presentations of National Geographic Live. The interpreter is located toward the left side of the stage when viewing from your seat. For ideal seating, choose Orchestra or Mezzanine level seating.
