Chantal Chagnon
Artist biography

Chantal Chagnon is a Cree/Métis artist, educator, Knowledge Keeper and activist with roots in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. A Two-spirit single mother of four, she understands societal struggle first hand. Chantal has been an activist organizing events for 30+ years. Chantal recognizes connections, culture and community are integral parts of creating understanding and acceptance. Chantal is compassionate and believes an equitable and sustainable world is possible when we honour Mother Earth and our future generations.
