I am an artist currently living and working in Calgary, Alberta. During my undergraduate degree in biology, I did research on visual communication in science and scientific illustration inspired by my life long passion for visual art. 

Throughout my career as an artist, I have worked with a variety of media including illustration, sculpture, digital art, textiles, and traditional craft. My work often explores themes related to identity, mythology, and the natural world. It is heavily influenced by my experiences as a queer nonbinary person and my passion for LGBTQIA+ rights, racial justice, and environmental activism. 

As an emerging artist, I've not yet had many opportunities to exhibit my work publicly. However, in addition to having my scientific illustrations published for use in teaching materials, I will be exhibiting my pysanky in the spring 2024 season at the Stride Gallery in Calgary.
