The Elbow River Casino operates within Alberta’s charitable gaming model as a traditional casino, which means that the company splits the net proceeds with charitable organizations. Charitable organizations are licensed by Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC), and provide volunteers for each two-day event at the casino. Under statute, each charitable organization is obligated to reinvest their portion of casino proceeds back into the Calgary community through worthy projects, and beneficial services.
