James Morton is a Senior Director in Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited’s office in Calgary. He manages portfolios for a large number of individuals, families, charities, and corporations across North America and around the world. James joined the firm’s Toronto office in 1998, reaching the level of partner in 2001 and relocated to Calgary in 2006. Prior to joining Jarislowsky, Fraser, James spent four years working as a management consultant for Monitor Company and NatWest Bank in London, England. Prior to that, James spent three years working in a variety of roles for Barclays Bank of Canada in Toronto. 

James has a B.A. in Economics from Queen’s University and an MBA from London Business School. James is also a former Board member of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and is a current member of the board of Valour Canada. James has served as an Arts Commons Board member since 2014.
