Artist Statement for Etuaptmumk

As a self-taught artist I have been interested in graphite, blending, shading depicting portraits, people, landscapes, cultures, and nature. I like capturing the soul and emotion to art. I have been doing art as long as I can remember, and it is one of my deep passions as a young artist. Another passion of mine is music. As an acoustic guitarist and a harmonica player, music is art to me. Exploring cultural music is also one of my passions.

Through IndigeSTEAM I’m striving to gain experience as a young artist. I look to engage with other artists, seeing their view of arts, and building on my skillset through mentorship.
