ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

I am primarily a musician, poet and painter - I move about these practices on a day-to-day basis in varying ways, it is usually dependent on what I feel I need to create. I am socially a white man, part of the LGBTQ+ community, and care deeply about social dynamics and justice, Indigenous ways of knowing, and how we can heal one another through art and open, honest conversations. I am a member of the Miskanawah community, which is a "social service working from a harm-reduction and strength-based perspective with a focus on Indigenous teachings and traditions." I try to take these teachings with me in my day-to-day, and they have had a great influence on my aspect of Self, therefore my Work. Art is an essential outlet for me, and my main means of letting the seemingly magical nature of life back onto itself. It is my goal to live my life as an Artist, regardless of income or circumstance, even if this means I’ll have to be homeless or otherwise. I’m currently learning and pursuing tattooing and being active in my communities. I want to work on large projects with collaborative groups. Currently, I am looking to produce a studio album at a professional level with a fun sound team, saving to publish a book to poems to local distributors, and painting when the need arises.
