ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:
I am a Social Practice artist who is passionate about community-engaged arts practices. I am deeply committed to the idea that art should be made with communities rather than for them. I utilize my backgrounds in theatre and Public Art to work with groups of people around a theme or issue and collaborate with other artists and makers to create a final outcome for presentation. This multidisciplinary approach allows me to tailor the project to the best medium for the topic we are exploring. I have worked in audio and visual the written word. My current areas of focus are the changing roles of women post-COVID through the Kitchen Feminism projects, as well as social isolation, invisible illness and menopause.
