Artist Statement for Etuaptmumk

"A Bloom Frozen in Time" My clay sculpture captures a fleeting moment—a rose before its full bloom, symbolizing innocence, purity, and the beauty of youth suspended in time. Through mixed-media, I weave together random ideas and personal creativity, striving to balance individuality with connection.

From childhood, I was fascinated by creating from memory, shaping characters that were entirely my own. That passion still drives me today, fueling my art with imagination and freedom.

As part of this exhibition, I hope to showcase that creative expression is limitless—that struggling youth can find their voice, no matter where they come from. Art offers a space to explore, to grow, and to see the world through a different lens.
