Calgary's New West Symphony & Chorus is directed by Henric Ideström and Natalie Prando. Founded in February 2010, this community-based choir and orchestra features almost 100 members who are passionate about music. Audience members have marveled time and again about the fact that this group shatters the typical “choir and orchestra” stereotype; you’ll quickly notice that New West Symphony & Chorus exudes joy and passion at every turn.

Joining the adult ensemble is the New West Student Ensemble, a dynamic youth choir and orchestra featuring musically talented students in Grades 7 through 12. Directed by David Klob and Elisa Reigel, these young people bring their energy and vitality to every single performance. The Student Ensemble is an audience favorite and is sure to be a highlight of New West’s seasonal celebration.
