This program brings artists to schools for one day or more to collaborate with students and teachers in engaging multidisciplinary, arts-based learning including visual art, drama, dance, music and multimedia.
Do you have an emerging Bob Dylan, Elton John or Katy Perry in your class? Have a fear of music? Discover some resources you can implement immediately. Tools like setting words to music, riffing on your favourite literature and writing from titles. Your students have a voice. Help them find it.
Come along dressed in your best sari or Indian outfit or bring a colourful scarf, and get your dancing feet ready to groove to the beats of Bollywood with a professional instructor. The dance learned here can be adapted across age groups from Phys. Ed. to Social Sciences. Shake your body, Bollywood-style!
We have helped hundreds of students in a school create a collective mural. We’ve also seen individual students make life-sized sculptures of their own bodies. If you give kids a little direction, a little encouragement, and a few ideas, their creative energy will explode off the page, light up the room, and amaze you!
Help your students incorporate drama as a tool for reflection on their thoughts and feelings. Learn how to use kinesthetic experience to improve their understanding and connect ideas.
