SPECIAL SCREENING – The Jazz Loft according to W. Eugene Smith
Featured as part of Happenings at Arts Commons, The Jazz Loft according to W. Eugene Smith is the unique retelling of life in a dilapidated loft that served as a gathering place for jazz musicians between 1957 and 1965, as told by the eccentric LIFE magazine photographer, W. Eugene Smith. With over 4,000 hours and audio, and 40,000 photographs, W. Eugene Smith captured in perfect detail, a irreplaceable time and place in American jazz.
Seating to this free screening is limited, and available on a first come, first served basis.
