The Chicago blues tradition is personified in Lurrie Bell, a man who’s emotional honestly and heartfelt connection with his lyrics can be felt in every twang of his electric guitar. Son of famed blues harmonica player Carey Bell, Lurrie Bell picked up his father’s guitar at age of five and hasn’t stopped playing since. Noted for his elegant and intense guitar playing, as well as his passionate vocals, he has become a favorite at clubs and festivals around the world.
