Hypnagogia is the experience of the transitional state from wakefulness to sleep: the hypnagogic state of consciousness, during the onset of sleep. It is our intent with this 15-speaker, multi-channel piece to create a calming audio environment that invokes this transitory state of consciousness. In the ever-increasing hustle and bustle of modern life, it seems exceedingly easy to get caught up in a plethora of distractions. This piece is an anthesisis to the digital world, that we hope allows you to take a moment of repose to bathe in a cascade of ever-flowing analogue sounds.
